Welcome to Week #8 of our course and the second week of Unit\n4 \u2013 can you believe there are only two weeks to go! How time flies when you are\nhaving fun. ;)<\/p>\n\n
Last week in our course,\u00a0Activity\n1 in Unit 4<\/b><\/a>\u00a0invited you to choose a topic to examine regarding the\nimpact of DLEs. Thank you all for your thought-provoking work thus far in\nexamining some challenging and \u201cill structured\u201d issues through the lens of the\nimpact of digital learning. Well done! This activity invited you to explore\nissues that may have been unfamiliar or were very familiar, but you were\nexploring them through a different lens with the potential benefit of other\nvoice(s) in the mix. The aim of the activity is to cultivate a broader\/deeper\nunderstanding of the complexity of the issue and perhaps, inspire ongoing\ninvestigation by yourself or others through the sharing of your thinking and\nresources. I encourage everyone to have a look at the work of other\nparticipants and provide comments and questions for our learning community\u2014and\nespecially encourage you to expand your more usual circle to comment on posts\nfrom those participants you have not yet worked with. Also, if you would like my feedback\/thoughts on one of your posts, just let me know which one and any specific questions you have on the topic.<\/p>\n\n Part of the purpose for the Unit 4 Activity 1 is to get your\nthoughts flowing re: issue\/topic for\u00a0Assignment\nThree\u00a0\u2013 the briefing note<\/b><\/a>. Some of you may pick up on the same\nissue you explored in Unit 4 Activity 1 for Assignment Three, while others may\nchoose a completely different issue all together \u2013 either path is fine! Also,\njust a gentle reminder that Assignment Three is\u00a0due on\nSunday, May 31.<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n\n Now, this note wouldn\u2019t be complete without an update on the\nfeedback for Assignment Two. I am just completing feedback for our recent\nDebate Activity to the Moodle course site and you will find this in the\nindividual Moodle assignments (one for the Debate and the other for self\/peer\nassessment) by the end of today. Thanks to everyone for your active\nparticipation and great insights. I thoroughly enjoyed the ideas and critical\nthinking on display as you worked through this challenging assignment. I\nencourage you to review the feedback prior to submitting your A3 so that you\ncan incorporate what is relevant into your next individual written submission.<\/p>\n\n As always, if you have any questions or want to talk further\nonce you have a chance to go through the feedback just let me know and I would\nbe happy to connect.
