As a team, you will select theoretical frameworks from the list provided (Note: the number of theoretical frameworks will be the same as the number of individuals on the team, e.g., if there are 4 members on your team, you will identify four theoretical frameworks). The team may propose theoretical frameworks not on the list with the approval of the instructor. As a team, you will source and analyse articles that demonstrate the frameworks your team has chosen, including at least one article that has a secondary research focus. There are three parts to this assignment and you are expected to adhere to APA standards for citations and references.
- In Part A, your team will develop the following for each theoretical framework: annotated bibliography including at least three entries for each theoretical framework. Each entry should be no more than 200 words and include the following: properly referenced details regarding the source; a description of the theoretical framework in relation to the article; and the theoretical framework’s connection to learning and technology. The assignment should also have an opening paragraph that briefly outlines the frameworks chosen, and any connections between the frameworks that the team might want to highlight.
- In Part B, you will develop and deliver a team presentation of your theoretical frameworks during residency. The presentation can be in whatever format your team chooses (e.g., PowerPoint, infographic, YouTube video, concept map, mindmap etc.).
- In Part C, you will critically assess your contribution to the team and the contribution of your peers. Your grade for Part C will be based on the average of your self assessment and that of your peers.
Note: In this course this assignment addresses Course Learning Outcomes (CLO) B: Develops arguments backed with evidence, C: Explains different forms of research inquiry and their applicability and use, and D: Critically analyzes various forms of research and writing. Please review all of the related assessment criteria as you create your final product. The assignment will be assessed using the following rubrics.
Part A Submit: To the Assignment 2 dropbox in Moodle.
Part B Submit: Presentations will happen during the residency.
Value: Part A and B = 25%; Part C = 5%

For Part C: Peer and Self Assessment
Please rate yourself and your team members on the relative contributions that were made in preparing your annotated bibliography, preparing your presentation, and in conducting the presentation. Please be candid in your assessment. Your ratings will not be disclosed to other students. In rating your group members use a one to five point scale, where: 5 = Superior 4 = Above Average 3 = Average 2 = below average 1 = weak You can use 2 decimal places (i.e.: 4.5). Your mark will be based on the average of all ratings from your self and your peers.
