The discussion of the media versus method debate was very engaging. The link to the <a href=\"https:\/\/moodle.royalroads.ca\/moodle\/mod\/zoom\/recordings.php?id=896307\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">recording will be here<\/a>when it is ready as well as the questions that we focused on in case others who are meeting up later to discuss would like to know where we focused.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align:left;\"><br \/><\/p><p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align:left;\"><\/p><p><\/p><ul><li><span lang=\"en-us\" xml:lang=\"en-us\">Place yourself on a spectrum from \"Clark is\nright\" to \"Kozma is right.\" What moved you there: an argument, a\npiece of evidence, or your own professional experience?<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size:1rem;\">Are Clark and Kozma\nactually disagreeing, or talking past each other because they define\n\"media\" and \"influence\" differently? Try to state the one\npoint on which they genuinely conflict.<\/span><\/li><li><span lang=\"en-us\" xml:lang=\"en-us\">Can this debate be\nsettled with evidence, or is it partly a philosophical disagreement about how\nto frame causation in learning?<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size:1rem;\">Re; your Activity 5 post in a sentence. What made it\ntechno-deterministic? What language gave it away?<\/span><\/li><li>The course asks us to\ncritically analyze debates and myths about learning and technology. What's one\nmyth in your professional world that this debate helps you see more clearly?\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><p><\/p><p><\/p><p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align:left;\"><br \/>I also created a <a href=\"https:\/\/moodle.royalroads.ca\/moodle\/pluginfile.php\/1353785\/mod_forum\/post\/4222555\/Three%20Theories%2C%20Thirty%20Years%20of%20Brain.html\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">draft (not fact checked) document<\/a> that overlaid the advances in neuroscience from 1994 onward on top of the three learning theories that were of that time (Behaviourism; Cognitivism and Constructivism).
