I hope you had a great weekend and are having a smooth start to\nthe week. I am sure you are in the thick of it putting your finishing touches\non your A2 video. As outlined in the Schedule, this week we are doing the\nfollowing:<\/p>\n\n
1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Uploading\nthe A2 Deliverable 1 \u2013 (pre-recorded video & document) DUE Sept 28th<\/sup>\n- uploaded into Moodle Assignment 2:\nRole-play debate (Pair) \u2013 (deliverable 1: video & document) dropbox <\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n 2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Watching\nthe videos for the synch session you are attending (Oct 1 or Oct 2) <\/p>\n\n 3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Reviewing\nin depth the video your pair has been assigned (see the Debate Google Doc<\/a>) between\nSept 28 \u2013 Oct 1 - DUE by Oct 1st<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n 4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Participate\nin the live \u201cFilmmakers Cut\u201d sessions Oct 1 and\/or Oct 2 depending on what one\nyou have signed up for and of course, know you can come to both.<\/p>\n\n 5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Submit A2\nDeliverable 2 (peer assessment) DUE Oct 4th<\/sup> \u2013 uploaded to the Moodle\nAssignment 2:\nRole-play Debate (Individual) (deliverable 2: peer assessment) dropbox.<\/a><\/p>\n\n So yes, it is a rich and full week this week so do make sure you\ntake care of yourself this week and give your brain some good \u201csleep time\u201d so\nit can knit together and of the new learnings and get some of the clean up done\nthat always needs to happen when you have been creative \uf04a<\/p>\n\n This week across Canada we will observe National Day of Truth and\nReconciliation. I will be spending the day out on the land and am so looking\nforward to being a witness to the beauty and the resilience of the land in all\nof its forms. <\/p>\n\n One of the activities I also did this past week was to read\u00a0\u00a0Land Back<\/i><\/a>\u00a0which\nis a paper from the Yellowhead Institute that examines issues around land\ndispossession.
