We have a bit of snow on this Family\nDay (or Heritage Day?) Monday morning, and I am hoping those of you in the east\nare doing okay through the storms and the cold weather. I have started to read\nyour posts for Assignment 1, and it is great to see how you are taking models\nand ideas provided in the literature and are weaving these into your own\nexperiences and contexts. <b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n\n<p><b>Moving on to Unit 3<\/b><\/p>\n\n<p>We are now moving into Unit 3 where you will\nfocus on how to plan and implement digital learning tools or a learning\nprogram\/policy change within an organization. You are asked you to consider\ndata in decision-making, project management models, and how both can frame the\nplanning process. This unit is broken down into three weeks:<\/p>\n\n<ul><li>Data and decision-making (Week 5): Readings to\nhelp you think about data, and another shifting perspective activity, which you\nshould wrap up by Sunday. I will have some data to share with you and will post\nit in the General Discussion area in a few days.<\/li><li>\n\nProject management (Week 6): Leading Planning.\nSome of you may have quite a bit of experience with project management, but for\nthose who may not, there are some links to an OER which provides a good\noverview. The readings provide a variety of approaches and perspectives on\nplanning. Your activity this week is a blog post.<\/li><li>\n\nTeam project (Weeks 5-7): The culminating task\nof Unit 3 is the team project and development of a toolkit (Assignment 2). You\nmay want to start planning early. If you need any further resources there is a\nfolder in Moodle, and if do want chat with me or one of the team coaches from\nRRU then just let me know.
