Overview<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Using the Community of Inquiry (CoI)<\/strong> model, you will design a representation (e.g., infographic, short video, illustrated list, poster, or annotated slide deck) that shows how a facilitator can support Teaching, Social, and Cognitive Presence<\/strong> in a digital learning environment. You\u2019ll then write a short blog post (max 400 words) that explains your choices and connects them to your own context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This assignment is flexible in both format<\/strong> and expression<\/strong>. If a visual format doesn\u2019t work for you, you’re welcome to present your ideas in a different way (e.g., a clear written outline with headings, an audio recording, a diagram + bulleted text). What matters most is the clarity and connection of your strategies to the CoI model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instructions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Choose a format<\/strong> that works for you (infographic, annotated diagram, audio with slides, text-based outline, video, etc.).
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Think about your own facilitation context<\/strong> (e.g., higher ed, K\u201312, nonprofit, corporate training).
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Identify at least 3 practical strategies<\/strong> for each CoI presence (Teaching, Social, Cognitive).
    These can come from course readings, discussions, or your own experience.
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Create your representation<\/strong> of those strategies, with the aim of being clear and engaging.
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Write a short blog post<\/strong> (max 400 words) that:
    Explains your context and rationale
    Connects your representation to the readings
    Highlights what was most important in your choices
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. (Optional) Add a Creative Commons license<\/strong> if you’re comfortable sharing your work openly
