Hello Ariel, Gen, Jenn, Ron, Claire, Kelly, Renata, Florian, Celine, Chris, Christina, Carla, and Craig,
I have spent the morning perusing your biographies and blog posts, and it sure has led me to feel excited about our time together. I am quite astounded by what an interesting group you are, and also by how many common interests we share (which we can discuss when we meet).
You will notice that there is a weekly zoom meeting on Tuesdays from 5-6:30 Pacific time. I hope you can make it, but if you can't, know that the session will be recorded. I will introduce myself tomorrow, but in the meantime, you can learn a bit about me via my bio the Royal Roads website.
One goal of the class is for you to begin to consider what research questions most interest you. In service of that goal, I invite you to set up a 1-on-1 meeting with me, so we can begin to get to know each other and discuss your preliminary thoughts.
