For this assignment, drawing from the Unit 1 discussions and readings, you will write a paper addressing one or more of the foundational elements of research that stood out for you in terms of its importance to your own learning and pursuit of a graduate degree in education and technology. You may choose to outline a specific topic (e.g. What makes a good research question? What is the difference between primary and secondary research and where/how might they be used? What is the difference between qualitative and quantitative research and how/where might they be used in relation to your research in this program?) or a collection of topics. Your paper must be a maximum of 1500 words (not including title page and references) and be double-spaced. You are expected to adhere to APA standards for citations and references and formatting and to back up your statements with appropriate academic literature.
