Hi everyone,

It is hard to believe we are at the end of the course! Congratulations! I am seeing a few final reflection posts coming in and have appreciated your thoughtful consideration of your learning journeys. Looking back at your early thoughts on leadership, there seems to be some early consensus that though the values you identified early may not have changed, you may have new insight into different kinds of leadership theories/models and see leadership as a complex set of contexts/characteristics that is constantly evolving. Marni, Andrea and Catherine all spoke to the kinds of leadership they feel they can take in their current roles (or perhaps future ones), and a theme across all of their posts was how they see themselves providing mentorship and support of colleagues. There was also a sense that there was value in exploring the different perspectives about leadership and change, and that skills and tools that were developed, as well as valuable learning from peers, can be incorporated directly into practice.

I will look forward to reading your final projects and will plan to have them marked and returned to you as soon as I can. Your final grades will take a bit longer as they require program approval.

Thank you for your participation in this course – I have really enjoyed learning with you over the past 9 weeks. I have so appreciated your thoughts and perspectives – I am always amazed how much I take away and learn. Have a nice break from your studies and all the best for the rest of the program!
