Planned Moodle and Blog Access Outage

Just passing along information that Royal Roads University IT Services is going to be doing some maintenance and upgrade work on our servers the weekend of April 27 – 28 (Sat/Sun). As a result, the RRU network will be down at least part of this time, and possibly all of the weekend. Service should be fully restored by 6pm on Saturday, April 27. If there is a delay, RRU IT Services will notify the community by 6pm on Saturday, April 27 via web notice at www.royalroads.ca.

This means that all Moodle instances and the login/access for our course blogs will be unavailable on Saturday April 27, and potentially on Sunday April 28. We should still be able to se the course Wordpress website and read each others blogs (and maybe comment?) but access to all Wordpress login and thus editing/posting features will be unavailable while the RRU servers are down. Just in case, it might be a good idea to copy any links or other content you wanted to look at this weekend (reading lists, etc.)
