Hello Everyone,
A huge round of thanks to our "Meet the Filmmakers" from our first session tonight! Not only were the video debates informative and engaging but the discussion tonight was thought-provoking and fast paced We did record it so you can find it all here.
We also realized that there were two (if not more) ways to interpret the table of who was doing a peer review of whom. My sincere apologies for the confusion and extra work this caused. As you will hear on the recording if you listen all the way to the end, we spent some time sorting it out at the end of the session tonight (thank you for your patience). Please see the table on the google doc.
Also, just to be clear what is being "peer reviewed".
On the recording tonight I mentioned using the rubric however, in the assignment description there is actually a peer review template to use (which includes the rubric and leaves room for comments). You can find it in the submission requirements in bold (see screen shot below).

When you are reviewing, you are taking the whole package into consideration (the video & the film makers cut discussion).
Grading
I will be grading deliverables 1 & 2 worth 25% of your mark for Assignment Two and they are graded as a team assignment. The peer review is an individual assignment and counts for 10% of your assignment grade. I will be using an average of the peer reviews being submitted to calculate that. I will not be sending what you upload to as your individual assignment (peer review template) to the pair you are assigned. I will create a summary document of the feedback provided to share with the pair you reviewed.
I hope this helps clarify things and thank you for your patience as we sorted this out and your grace for the ability to fail at pair matching (first attempt in learning and then work from that to I hope a place of clarity. Please keep asking questions if it is not clear.
Have a great night and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow for "Meet the Filmmakers" round 2!
Ciao,
Elizabeth
